NotchLive is a Mac app for following live speech and returning to recorded conversations. It provides live captions for system audio or your microphone, with a desktop workspace for saved sessions and dictation.
Version 1.12 adds audio and video import. Bring in an existing recording, transcribe its speech locally, and replay the audio alongside the transcript. Supported translations appear in separate language tabs, leaving the original transcript intact. Imported source files remain unchanged.
Live captions are free. Pro costs $24.99 USD once and includes file import, saved sessions, dictation and supported translation features, with lifetime updates. NotchLive requires macOS 14 or later; saved-transcript translation requires macOS 15 or later and a supported language pair.
