What TheMacApps is

TheMacApps publishes AI Research about Mac apps. Reports are produced by AI from public sources such as official websites, pricing pages, changelogs, app stores and public discussions. Each fact links to the source it came from.

AI Research can be wrong

• AI can misread a page, and apps change their prices and features. Check the linked source and the date it was checked before you buy.
• A missing answer means we found no evidence. It does not mean an app lacks the feature.
• Reports are information, not professional, legal or financial advice.

Independence

Scores come from the published factors, their weights and the verified evidence. Sponsors and app makers can't pay to change a score, reorder a report or remove a finding. Where an app in a report has a commercial relationship with TheMacApps, the report says so.

Corrections

Anyone, including app makers, can report an error. A correction needs a source we can check. We may update, keep or reject a fact based on that source.

Your account and content

• Keep your sign-in secure; you're responsible for activity on your account.
• You keep ownership of notes and Research you create. When you publish a Research, you let us display, share and embed it on TheMacApps and on sites that embed it.
• Don't submit content you don't have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, misleading or spam.

Acceptable use

Don't overload the service, scrape it at a rate that harms other users, try to bypass rate limits, or use it to impersonate others. We may limit or suspend access that does.

Third-party content

App names, icons and screenshots belong to their owners. Links to other sites are provided as sources; we don't control those sites.

Paid services

Any paid service shows its price and what's included before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment providers.

Liability

TheMacApps is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for purchase decisions or losses that result from relying on a report without checking its sources.
