What screenpipe says it does

Screenpipe captures screen text and audio into searchable history. Use it to recall something you saw across apps, retrieve meeting context, take meeting notes, and prepare work summaries. An MCP server and local API let AI tools use this history as context.
Raw history stays local by default. Configured cloud AI, transcription, sync and integrations can transmit context off-device. The source code is available under the Screenpipe Commercial License.
