A native clock for the Mac
Wick brings timers, stopwatches, and alarms into one macOS app. Its controls are available from the menu bar, while active timing information can also appear on the Lock Screen. The interface includes digital and analog stopwatch views, labeled alarms, repeating schedules, snooze duration, selectable sounds, and custom volume controls.
Timing tools that stay close
The official 1.0 release defines three core tools and two system surfaces:
- Create, edit, and manage multiple timers.
- Record elapsed time with digital or analog stopwatch views and lap data.
- Set labeled, repeating alarms with a chosen sound.
- Control timers, alarms, and the stopwatch from the menu bar.
- Check running items from the Lock Screen.
Wick can integrate with Alcove to place active timers on its Lock Screen experience. Version 1.0.2 added an Always Notify option, a light-mode Frosted preview, and a snooze-duration menu, alongside fixes for timer progress and Lock Screen widget overlap.
Free, with a compatibility caveat
Wick is free and supports macOS Sequoia 15 or later. It is distributed as closed-source software through an official public releases repository. The developer states that some functionality relies on Apple private APIs, which Apple could change or remove in the future.
