I'm Federico Infelici, the developer of Unwind and the Quits Mac apps.

Unwind finds development leftovers such as dev servers whose terminal is gone, forgotten Git worktrees, unused dependency folders, test containers, and build or package caches. Each candidate includes its evidence. You review the proposed actions and choose what to remove.

It also includes a command line tool and an MCP server for coding agents. It checks candidates again before acting and verifies the result afterward. Cleanup outcomes depend on the actual projects and processes on your Mac.

Unwind requires macOS 26 or later and access to the folders it scans. Some cleanup of system files prompts for an administrator password through macOS.

Unwind costs €14.99 once on the Quits website. A license covers five active Macs, updates are included, and purchases have a 30-day refund policy. The app has no analytics and contacts Quits for licensing and updates.

The official page contains an interactive browser simulation with sample data. It is not an installable trial or measured performance result.
